BATH....SPLISH, SPASH!!!!

BATH

Our last day trip was to Bath.  We arrived at 10:30 am and immediately went to the Ancient Roman Baths to take a self-guided tour.  Here are some photos of the outside of the Baths and surrounding areas.

This Cathedral is right outside the Baths.  Matt took some photos inside.

Michael was eager to get into the Baths for a tour.  He couldn't wait for me to pay the admission fee.  We had to talk him down!!!

As mentioned earlier the Baths are a self-guided tour.  There is an alternative commentary by Bill Bryson that is very humorous.  Enjoy the photos.

Nikki and Kirsten demonstrate how to use the headset for the guided tour.

Who is breaking the rules?

Not Anne.  She is drinking legit water that you are allowed to drink.

Here is the culprit!!!  Of course!

AROUND TOWN

A street performer outside the Baths.

Other street performers.

A wedding!

Sign outside a pub! For all the Vegans out there!

Some really cool tea pots in a store window!

Notice the Pope in the lower right corner. He waves at you!

The Pulteney Bridge is one of two bridges in the world that has stores on each side of it.  When you are on it, it looks like a normal road with stores on each side.  The other one is in Florence, Italy.

The trolls under a bridge.

Bath has a lovely Park.  The students took time to relax and enjoy it.

The scarf queen!  Always prepared.

THE COSTUME AND FASHION MUSEUM

Some of the students went to the Costume and Fashion Museum and enjoyed it a lot.  Here are a few photos of the exhibit.

THE BUS RIDE HOME

All in all it was an exhausting day.  Bath is quite hilly and it wore these poor souls out!

Stay tuned for the next blog coming soon of Matt's Trip to Wales, our long weekend in Scotland, Art in London class trips, and 20th Anniversary play, How I Learned to Drive by Paula Vogel.

THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!!
