This is the Temple Bar area of Dublin where our hostel, Barnacles is located and the Gaiety School of Acting. The following photos are of the Temple Bar area, Smock Alley theatre that is run by the Gaiety School and where Ben did part of his internship. He also worked at the Project Theatre. You will also see some photos I took of Ben's photo shoot of the second year acting students at the Gaiety School in the Smock Alley Theatre....which is the oldest theatre in Dublin. Ben found the location, set up lights and directed and shot the photos...I just took photos of his photo shoot. Other photos are of some of the plays we went to and the final showcase the Sam, Krista, and Lindsay did at the end of our two weeks. We took a trip to Galway during our middle weekend.

John and Edward, aka Jedward were two Irish guys from Dublin that were on the X Factor who couldn't sing but kept getting voted on every week. They finally got cut!!!! For some reason Dublin is proud of them...???? The spiked hair that they have has started a craze....Lindsay loves them, too.
We spent the weekend in Galway. Stayed at Barnacles there. Rained the entire time. Below is an open market and my favorite little pub in Galway. We had dinner upstairs and went downstairs to enjoy some local music and a great fire in the fireplace
The Temple Bar is one of the many, many pubs in the Temple Bar area. Ben, Sam, and I went to The Quays Pub to see my friend, David Ross (Nassau Royal) perform. Hopefully, I can download some video at the end of this blog. He has a CD coming out this spring with all original song
