LAST LONDON BLOG OF 2017 ....

I am writing this blog from Rhode Island where I have been since December 19th.  Spent Christmas Holidays with the family.  Notice my two goofy nephews in the background of the picture above.  Our 2nd week in Ireland involved seeing plays and students doing their final showcase at the Gaiety School of Acting.  They did an awesome job.  Some of the plays we saw were Iscariot written by the infamous Patrick Sutton, King Lear directed by Martin Mcguire, Let the Right One In (Photo below) at the Abbey Theatre and the Panto, Rapunzel, at the Gaiety Theatre.  It was not very good!

Back in London the students that were left and I saw some more shows including School of Rock (really good), Book of Mormon, Big Fish, Toxic Advengers, and more.  Becca went to Lichtenstein, and Liam, Anna, and Amber went to Rome.  Parker and Becca went to Paris and Parker and Stefan went to Amsterdam.

I, on the other hand, traveled to Venice for five days with Jonathan Kennedy.  His wife Alise could not come because of work at the Royal Ballet!!!  We had an awesome time.  I love Venice this time of year because there are hardly any tourists and very few pigeons!!!!  Always a plus.  We stayed literally 30 seconds from San Marco Square.  Great hotel and location!  Food was great!  Here are some of the sights!
